how i work
Design starts with a question. Mine usually begin with why does this exist, and how could it exist better.
I'm drawn to the space between concept and execution where ideas get tested against reality, refined through material and iteration, and resolved into something that feels considered rather than just finished.
Photography taught me to see before I design. Light, rhythm, composition that visual instinct shapes every layout, every prototype, every decision about proportion and detail. The camera and the sketchbook have always worked together for me.
what i believe in
Good design solves problems without announcing itself. It considers the person using it, the environment it exists in, and the impact it leaves behind.
Sustainability isn't a feature I add at the end - it's a lens I design through from the start. The most considered solutions are usually the ones that last, adapt, and do more with less.

current research
My Honours dissertation examines how design thinking can improve the real-world resilience of small drone systems, specifically how casing architecture, modularity, and material strategy can close the gap between technical capability and field performance.
It's design applied to a genuinely complex problem, where aesthetics take a back seat to survivability, usability under pressure, and systems that work when it counts
